General objective:

The general objective of the project is to increase National R&D for Food Bioresources capacity in participating to Framework programmes of European Union (Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe) and other international RDI programmes, by creating a Managerial Support Center (as an horizontal department) – IBA SUPORT.

IBA SUPORT will be responsible for developing the institute’s capacity to obtain European funding, in particular through the Horizon 2020 program, as well as for implementing processes and tools aimed at human resources, administrative-institutional capacity and managerial issues. Implicitly, it is considered the promotion and consolidation of the institute’s position in the elite of European centers with expertise in ensuring food quality and safety and in streamlining aspects related to the entire food chain: processing – (bio)technologies – nutrition – consumer.
